The "....Static" video series are composed of the core elements of digital media: sound signal and visual data signal in relationship with each other over time. 

Semantic content is limited to one snippet of sampled audio, to highlight the difference between 'recognizable' content delivered via words and the core materials provided in digital media - streams of numbers translated to pixellated data and audio signal.

Pusher tells us "the word for that particular shade is ... Cerulean." The sample is pulled from a longer speech by the villain, in which he states "cerulean blue is a cool breeze . . ." 

I created this piece on my first day of chemo. A cool breeze clears the sky of clouds. One must sacrifice the disease, make room for health.
